About

DIY for the rest of us.

Most DIY sites assume you have a garage, a circular saw, and a wall you can drill into. DIY Projects Club is for everyone else: renters, small-space dwellers, beginners, and people who just want a fold-down desk without losing their deposit.

What every guide includes

Every project is built to a strict template so you know what you’re getting into before you start:

  • Finished result, time, cost, and skill level upfront
  • Damage risk — what this does to your wall and your deposit
  • Noise and mess ratings — good for shared walls?
  • Space you’ll need — kitchen table, balcony, outdoors
  • Tool substitutions if you don’t have a drill / saw / sander
  • Shopping list and printable checklist

How we test

We build every project in an actual apartment before it goes up. Adhesives are tested over weeks, not minutes. We measure load limits with real weights. If a product fails for renters in real-world conditions, we tell you here first.

Affiliate disclosure

Some shopping list links may earn us a small commission. We pay for everything we test with our own money, and no commission ever changes a recommendation.

Where we’re going

Right now the club is editorial — a small team building guides with care. Eventually we’ll open submissions so other DIYers can share projects using the same structured template.
